R.O.L.E. Foundation operates the Bali WISE program, which empowers young Indonesian women through education, skills development, English language proficiency, and hospitality training, lifting them out of poverty. These women come from impoverished backgrounds, where basic necessities like clean water and electricity are often unavailable. Without R.O.L.E., these women would face limited opportunities, early pregnancy, and the possibility of falling into the cycle of poverty or, even worse, being vulnerable to sexual trafficking or abuse.
For just 10 dollars, you can provide a young woman in need with a uniform and learning materials!
Indonesia is thriving in many areas like health, science, and prosperity, but there's still a huge gender gap in respectful fields. Shockingly, 16% of Indonesian women are married or in a child-bearing union before they even turn 18, and almost 10% face sexual and/or physical abuse. But here's the good news: at Bali Wise, these girls get education around spotting abuse, self-defense, and where to get help. Plus, they also receive essential life skills that keep them safe and give them the tools to break the cycle of poverty.
For just 125 dollars, you can provide a young woman with one month of training at the Bali WISE Learning Center, including a uniform, learning materials, food, accommodation, and a needs budget!
Andy has decided to take on the Row for R.O.L.E. 13+ KM challenge to break the poverty cycle and uplift young women! Its not going to be an easy task, the sun, the currents, swells and exhaustion will challenge him to complete the Row. Not to worry, your friend or family member will be safe with professional safety and rescue boats.
