Avishek is running for HELP

My name is Avishek and I'm a data scientist running the 10K to support HELP, an NGO helping domestic workers. Growing up, I saw firsthand how hard domestic workers worked tirelessly behind closed doors with little support. This inspired me to take action.

HELP provides a supportive community where domestic workers can share their struggles freely. I recall a domestic worker sharing how the counseling sessions helped her cope with loneliness and homesickness. Gradually, as she socialized more, her self-esteem improved. She even found a new, caring employer through HELP's referral program.

Stories like this show me how a little act of kindness can go a long way. That's why I'm running - to raise funds so HELP can continue providing services like medical aid, legal counseling and skills training. These small interventions help empower domestic workers to overcome hardship and live with dignity.
