Who are we and why are we fundraising?
The Freedom Challenge is an event hosted by Running To Stop The Traffik, a charity that run a hosts of anti-slavery initiatives including:
- Mentoring Workshops
- Running races around the world that raise awareness and funds
- Youth Empowerment Conferences & Events
- Student Leadership Programs
- Incubators and Youth Seeding Campaigns
The Freedom Challenge I am taking a part of is in partnership with the Freedom Story and this is exactly what we want to do:
I have pledged to raise US$200 to fund the training of 20 local community members about human trafficking prevention. This is crucial in steering vulnerable people away from human trafficking traps that lures thousands of youth into the slavery every year.
