Help Migrant Domestic Workers Achieve Financial Freedom (Giving Tuesday with Enrich)

In Hong Kong, over 350,000 migrant domestic workers, comprising 10% of our labor force, face significant financial challenges. With monthly salaries as low as HK$4,990, many struggle to save, pay off debts, or support their families back home. They often encounter systemic issues and are vulnerable to financial exploitation, leading to years of hard work with little to show for it.

Meet Sofia, who completed our Financial Mentoring Programme in December 2023. With guidance from her mentor, Myles, Sofia set out on a journey to achieve her financial goals and successfully became debt-free. We are thrilled to share that Sofia is now also an Enrich graduate, having completed our financial education and empowerment programme!

Sofia's story is a testament to the resilience and determination of our graduates. We celebrate all that she has achieved in less than two years since we first met her through street outreach. Inspired by her journey, Sofia has also chosen to give back to the community by becoming an Enrich ambassador, helping to empower others to become financially capable to pursue their dreams.
