At just two and a half years old, little Hayfa should be running around the house, giggling at silly jokes, and fighting over toys with her siblings. Instead, she spends most of her days in a hospital room, hooked up to IV drips, undergoing painful treatments that no child should ever have to endure.

Hayfa has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), a cruel illness that has already taken so much from her young life. The road ahead is long—2.5 years of intensive cytotoxic chemotherapy. It means countless hospital stays, endless needles, and days when her tiny body is too weak to even sit up. It is an unimaginable reality for any child, yet Hayfa faces it with the pure resilience and innocence of someone who has only just begun to experience the world.

For the family, the news of Hayfa’s diagnosis felt like a devastating blow, one they were still reeling from. Just two years ago, they had fought the same battle when their older son was diagnosed with leukemia.
