Lup-ing for our Lupus Patients #SGHBeyond200

To commemorate 201 years of serving our nation in 2022, SGH Department of Rheumatology and Immunology (RHI) is participating in the inaugural SGH Beyond 200 Ride ‘n Run in 2022 to help patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE).

The team of Drs Poh Yih Jia, Tan Tze Chin, Benjamin Sachdev, Lee Zheng Cong from Department of Rheumatology & Immunology, Singapore General Hospital will be walking and running 100km to raise awareness for SLE and raise funds to improve patient outcomes.

Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease which commonly affects women, including young women of reproductive age. It causes widespread inflammation and tissue damage in multiple organs such as the joints, skin, kidneys and brain. Despite extensive research, treatment options remain limited.

Your valuable gifts towards the Reverie Rheumatology Research Fund (RRRF) would help make significant progress in understanding the disease and unravel potential new treatments. Thank you for making a difference to the lives of these patients and their families.

100% of your gift will go directly towards RRRF and be presented for dollar-to-dollar government matching.

Singapore tax residents will enjoy 250% tax benefits that are automatically included in the donor’s IRAS tax assessment. If you need a hard copy receipt, please email us at giftstosgh@sgh.com.sg.
