Paruth Hann is a hardworking single mother of two baby daughters aged 4 & 7. She lives in a humble village near Siem Reap, Cambodia. She is a professional potter, skilled in the 4,500 year old art of Khmer ceramics. She is a small entrepreneur with a big heart. She wants to start a pottery & hospitality business to create fair-wage jobs for those poorer than her in the village.

Paruth Hann has proven her worth. She set up the 'Angkor Pottery Center', now listed among top 5 attractions on Trip Advisor with ALL 5-star reviews! She is now fundraising to expand her pottery workshop AND to set up a new countryside guesthouse for foreign tourists. She will use this business to create new fair-wage jobs for youth among the poorest in her village - Receptionists, Housekeepers, Chefs, Waiters, Tour Guides, Handymen, Drivers and so on. She will use the funds raised here for construction of new guest rooms, hygienic equipment for food preparation, a waste recycling area, sanitary toilets, new clothes for her staff and purchase new potter wheels for the workshop. The business will open by November 2014, around the peak tourists season of Cambodia.
