GIVE.asia is a Good Samaritan of the beneficiary.

On the afternoon of 14th September, minutes after leaving home for school, tragedy befalls the Juraimi family that would impact their lives in an instant.

As reported on Berita Harian & Straits Times, while sending his younger brother to school, Muhammad Haziq Juraimi (20 years old) was involved in an accident with a prime mover along Boon Lay Road and Jurong West Ave 2. The accident claimed Haziq's life on the spot, while his younger brother, Muhammad Danish Juraimi (17 years old),  was trapped under the primer mover. Despite being extricated by rescue members from SCDF, he is critically injured. At the time of this writing, Muhammad Danish is fighting for his life while receiving treatment at National University Hospital of Singapore (NUH).

The following report will give a more detailed and heart moving account of the incident from the family.

Despite not knowing the family personally, as a fellow Singaporean and concerned member of the community - and as a fellow human at that - one can’t help but feel moved and saddened by the incident. The thought of losing a loved one is already difficult to imagine, what more to shoulder the burden of an incident that instantaneously affected two sons from the same family. Aside from offering our thoughts and prayers, I sincerely do hope this little gesture can help ease the family’s burden in some sense. Please help spread the word for the campaign and contribute where possible. May all our efforts be blessed.

On a personal note, while I may have alerted our friends at GIVE.asia of the incident which then initiated the start of the campaign, I do not wish to take any credit for any of it. It is with all our combined efforts that we can do our utmost to ease the family's burden, so please help spread the word and contribute where possible. In due course this campaign will be transferred to GIVE.asia's account where all proceeds and funds will be handled professionally by GIVE.asia and handed over to the victims' family by the end of the campaign in 4 weeks. Should anyone wish to contribute in any other manner, feel free to reach out to us.

Additionally, we would like to appeal for any witness with information to step forward and get in touch with authorities and family members to assist with ongoing investigation.

Once again, thank you for your kind support. Our thoughts and prayers are to the victims and family in this difficult time.
