Silver Ribbon (Singapore) is one of the five featured social cause at MFAC16.

Silver Ribbon (Singapore) is a non-profit organisation that was co-founded by Helen Lee, Sally Choo and Porsche Poh. It was launched by former President S R Nathan on 4 February 2006 after obtaining consent from Jean Singleton Liechty, J.D. who started Silver Ribbon Coalition in United States in 1993.

Silver Ribbon (Singapore) aims to encourage positive attitude towards mental health within the community, regardless of race, age or religion by combating mental health stigma, encourage early treatment and facilitate integration of people with mental illness within the society through innovative means of promoting mental health literacy.

Aside from providing complimentary counselling services at its 4 branch outlets, Silver Ribbon (Singapore) organises various community events, mental health talks and workshops. It also provides employment opportunities to clients through Back To Workforce Programme and collaborates with students on Mental Health Projects.

Music for a Cause 16 believes in the good work Silver Ribbon (Singapore) are doing. As such, we hope that you could join us to support their benevolent actions and good work.

Support Silver Ribbon (Singapore) by donating an amount, and allow them to continue to make a difference in generating awareness for mental illness, educating and removing the social stigma of mental illness, and allowing people with mental illness to integrate within the society.
