Raffles Institution Chapter Habitat For Humanity 2024
Hi everyone. We are Habitat for Humanity Raffles Institution Chapter, a group of JC2 students working with Habitat for Humanity Singapore. As a school chapter, we organise and take part in Project HomeWorks sessions run together with Habitat Singapore. This year, we are back with another year of fundraising!
Project HomeWorks is Habitat Singapore’s local initiative where we work with vulnerable persons and families who need help to transform their homes into a safe and sanitary state. Many of the vulnerable individuals we support through Project HomeWorks live in cluttered and unhygienic rental flats with little social support, and mobility issues that make it difficult to care for themselves, much less their homes.
During a Project HomeWorks session, homes are made safer by reducing clutter that are potential safety hazards. Homes are also made cleaner by giving homes a fresh sheet of paint and cleaning pest-infested furniture, improving the health and well-being of the vulnerable in our society.
Donate now to give the marginalised few in Singapore a clean, safe and pest-free space that they can call home. All funds raised for this campaign will be channelled to our Project HomeWorks funds to not only improve, but also dignify the living conditions of our beneficiaries.
Through Shelter, We Empower.
